Maybe if you’re like me, then you’re wondering how do I make money online anyway? There are so many different ideas. Some gurus are trying to get people to buy courses, and it just seems like a whirlwind of information. In this article, I’m just gonna talk about some basic ways that you can make money online today

Micro tasking

Have you ever heard of Micro tasking? Micro tasking is, where people will ask you to do small tasks for them online. These tasks don’t take a lot of commitment, and usually take a couple of minutes to do. Some of them even take 10 minutes. You might be thinking that this might be the way to solve all your money problems, but some of these micro-tasks don’t pay a lot of money. I’ve heard people get paid five dollars, maybe $10 a day to do a bunch of micro tasks.

The point is Micro tasks might be a way to get some pocket money, maybe into your PayPal account. It’s probably not gonna solve all of your problems. If you do this method along with any other methods, it might be useful for you

Making websites with WordPress

When people talk about making websites, they think that you need to learn to code. You need to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. That’s the basic language of the Internet. Have you ever heard of WordPress?

Word Press is a framework that’s based on PHP. Some people call it a content management system, basically used for blogs. You can make a surprising amount of interesting websites using WordPress. There are lots of tutorials online, and on YouTube, and they will teach you for free how to use the software. The best part of it all is that you can get a WordPress account for free, and you can use it for free too. You just have to put in a little bit of elbow grease, and then you can make lots of different kinds of websites.

So how do you make money doing this? Well if you go to Google Maps, then you could just go to any businesses that are in your area. Go look and see if they have any web presence. Guaranteed if they’re a mom-and-pop shop, they probably don’t even have a website.

So you can go up to them, and negotiate the website for a $500 payment. Show them your portfolio, and show them what you can do. After you get a couple of clients under your belt, then you can make yourself a nice freelance business, that only took about three or four weeks to learn the skills to do.

Do surveys

Doing surveys online is kind of like micro-tasking. Believe it or not, there are apps out there that will pay you for your information, and your opinions, based on where you live. Now the only one that I know that kind of pays any money is Google opinions. Other than that I feel like a lot of these surbey sites are a waste of time. There are a few survey sites, where if you suit a certain demographic, they will pay you big money. The problem is that those types of surveys are few and far between, and if you live outside of the US and Canada, it’s pretty hard to get them

Doing a couple of services a day, for maybe a month, you might get yourself 20 bucks or 30 bucks. While it probably won’t break the bank, it’s again, some nice pocket money, you can use for maybe your cell phone bill.

Start a YouTube channel

A recent survey in Japan said that a huge number of Japanese kids listed YouTuber as their profession of choice among doctors and firefighters. While being a YouTuber probably won’t make you money overnight, there are ways to make money on it. There’s ad revenue, and there’s also affiliate marketing.

A lot of people don’t like affiliate marketing, because they don’t know how it works. And also, affiliate marketing it’s kind of a little bit of a numbers game.

People think that you need to have a long 10,000 email list of people, and you can succeed with affiliate marketing. You don’t even really need to have any affiliate marketing associated with your YouTube. If you could just have enough subscribers, that watch your videos regularly, you can make a lot of money from ad revenue. While, this won’t make you money tomorrow, this could be a long-term goal for you, where you’re thinking about how you can make money in the future.

Teach English online

I’ve done an article about this before. Teaching English online is pretty lucrative, for me, I teach English online every morning. I like the companies where they basically feature you on their website, and then students will just pick you as their tutor for the day, or the week. There is also freelancing when it comes to teaching English online, where you have to find your own students, which is pretty difficult.

There are tons of different countries out there. And they will pay you to teach English to people in their country, and obviously, they get a certain percentage out of it too. Salaries vary between 10 bucks an hour, to maybe $25 an hour, depending on what you’re teaching.

While, this is by no means an exhaustive list of ways that you can make money online, hopefully, it has given you some ideas about what to do. Even if you do some surveys, and some micro-tasking, it might at least alleviate some of the burdens of the bills that you have to pay. And even if you’re not a full-time WordPress developer, it might be something that you can put in your back pocket, so you can make an extra hundred dollars a month making websites for people in your area.
